Alfred Health is seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our Emergency and Trauma Centre team. As a leader in healthcare delivery, improvement, research, and education, we provide a wide range of services to the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure timely and effective treatment.
- Lead and mentor junior staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes and reduce length of stay.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient flow.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA.
- Completion of Post Graduate Certificate in Critical Care (or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional manner and commitment to patient-centered care.
