Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ready Mix Truck Driver to join our team. As a Ready Mix Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality ready mix products to our customers.

About the Job

As a Ready Mix Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating a truck in accordance with federal, state, and company regulations. You will load and deliver perishable product to customers, providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a truck in accordance with federal, state, and company regulations
  • Load and deliver perishable product to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide excellent customer service while interacting with customers and other stakeholders
  • Perform pre and post-trip inspections, report necessary maintenance, and communicate with dispatch, maintenance, and plant management as needed

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A valid Class B CDL
  • A professional and courteous attitude towards colleagues, supervisors, and customers
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment process, including a criminal background check, DOT physical, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle Report
  • Knowledge of the ready-mix industry or a related industry is a plus

Working Conditions

This role requires working flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, early mornings, and overtime. You will work outdoors with exposure to extreme heat and cold and other outdoor environmental conditions. You will operate equipment, tools, and controls, performing repetitive movements with hands, wrists, and feet.
