About the Role:
The Polyglot Group is seeking a skilled Construction Manager to join our team in Cooma. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our client during the construction phase of infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the design and develop a comprehensive knowledge of the DJV's Service Agreement with the Client (and associated relevant documents) for the services related to technical assistance during the construction.
- Assimilate and take the lead on the activities of the DJV in response to the Client's requests for technical assistance in relation to the DJV design and services.
- Facilitate the interfaces between the Client and the Production Centers (PC) in the resolution of design issues related to the construction works.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Tertiary qualified Geotechnical Engineer with 12+ years of experience in geotechnical assessment of Underground Structures.
- 8+ years engineering experience on large scale projects.
- 5+ years experience of underground works.
- Experience of working with international teams.
- Knowledge of software such as Planisware, Rocscience, GEM4 D, and Surpac.
- Current DGSC.
- Fluency in English, good knowledge of French and/or Italian will be a plus.
