The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security, with experience in implementing and maintaining secure IT systems.
About the Role
">- Provide oversight for assigned networks, ensuring compliance with relevant security standards and policies;
- Lead Risk Management Framework (RMF) Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) efforts, working closely with other teams to ensure secure systems and compliance;
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate weaknesses;
- Develop and maintain system security plans, incident response plans, and other security-related documents;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of security efforts;
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our security posture.
Requirements
">- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field;
- 5+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on network security and compliance;
- Security+ certification and Secret clearance required;
- Strong understanding of NIST SP 800-37, 800-137, 800-53 rev 4/5, 800-39, 800-171, and 800-171A guidelines;
- Experience with RMF A&A processes, including creating and maintaining A&A packages and conducting self-assessments;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders;
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
