Job Overview

The role of an ICT Manager is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of IT systems, infrastructure management, and network security. This position requires a strategic leader to oversee IT operations, manage service delivery functions, and drive value delivery streams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage IT systems, infrastructure, and networks to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
  • Identify and allocate resources for budgeting, planning, and delivering technology services and systems.
  • Continuously improve processes and procedures to optimize value delivery streams.
  • Lead and mentor the IT team, providing training and development opportunities.
  • Oversee IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in IT or relevant field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in IT operations and service delivery, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or CISSP are highly desirable.
  • Significant experience in IT leadership roles and fostering DevSecOps culture.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management frameworks and project management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of defence industry standards and regulations.
Eligibility Criteria:

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level.
