We are a team of highly motivated market risk professionals who are undertaking a ground-up transformational build of a new Market Risk Platform by decommissioning six systems to create a design-led future state.

This is a 12-month contract position.

What role will you play?

You will be the Transformational Business Expert, collaborating with the project team to deliver business outcomes end-to-end from requirements through design, testing, and implementation. The project roadmap is driven by an uplifted market risk framework and operating model which includes the implementation of related system, reporting functionality, and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead workshops with business and technical stakeholders to elicit and document requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with experts to discuss and document complex quantitative market risk requirements, including financial models, processes, and reports.
  • Develop strong facilitation skills to articulate processes using process maps and well-defined user stories in collaboration with our business, design, and technical teams.

About Us:

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring, and reporting in relation to Macquarie's material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
