About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Technical Support Specialist, providing 2nd level support to a Federal Government customer. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Resolving incidents and service requests promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction;
  • Providing technical support for Windows 7 and Windows 10, corporate applications, and end-user experience improvements;
  • Collaborating with the desktop team to implement process improvements and achieve weekly performance targets;
  • Participating in team meetings to focus on key activities and improvement initiatives.

You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, responding efficiently to contacts, and recording all activities in the standard service management software. To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong communication skills, be able to manage your time effectively, and work collaboratively within a team environment.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Australian citizenship;
  • NV1 or NV2 Security Clearance;
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team environment;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to respond to client enquiries promptly and courteously;
  • High level of initiative and self-management skills.

Please note that due to the inherent requirements of the role, candidates must be Australian citizens and hold a minimum NV1 or NV2 Security Clearance. The role may involve access to controlled technology, and applicants may be adversely impacted if they do not meet these requirements.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $90,000 AUD, plus benefits such as flexible working arrangements, professional development opportunities, and a comprehensive employee assistance program.
