About This Role

This role requires an individual who will serve as the face of Digital Services at our organization, ensuring a superior user experience for staff when interacting with technology hardware and applications.

The Tech Bar Specialist will engage with stakeholders to deliver end-user computing and digital workplace solutions that enhance employee engagement and productivity.

  • Provide simplified customer-centric experiences at the onsite tech bar for staff with first- and second-level technical issues.
  • Deliver endpoint management enhancements and ensure CIS hardening of endpoint devices.
  • Offer AV concierge support for onsite meeting rooms, digital signage, and video conferencing.
  • Drive continuous service improvement for end-user computing and digital workplaces.
  • Assist in asset management of hardware, ensuring adequate stock controls are in place.
  • Deliver onboarding and offboarding processes, improving employee engagement and ensuring compliance for security and data loss prevention.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience in understanding end-user computing solutions, maintaining high standards, enhancing security and risk posture.
  • Sound knowledge of end-user computing, software optimization, Intune, Microsoft Defender, antivirus, video conferencing, Microsoft 365, and mobility.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with various people at different levels, both internally and externally.
  • Strategic thinker with a desire to investigate, problem-solve, and continuously learn new technologies.
  • Customer-focused mindset and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, organize and prioritize demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines, and follow through.
