Job Opportunity: Aircraft Maintenance Professionals

Aircraft maintenance professionals are required to join our organisation within the Aerospace division based in Williamtown, NSW.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Depending on your trade specialisation, you will be responsible for:
    • Mechanical engineers: Maintaining hydraulic, environmental, pneumatic, and propulsion systems, as well as related system components and propellers.
    • Avionic engineers: Inspecting and maintaining avionic systems and components on fixed and rotary wing aircraft.
    • Structures engineers: Responsible for the production, maintenance, and repair of sheet metal, bonded, and non-metallic composite materials and components on aircraft.
    • Armament engineers: Maintaining emergency escape systems, egress systems, and aircraft weapon systems from computers on board to stores and loading aircraft carriers.
  • Ensure all maintenance and technical documentation used is authorised and compliant with regulatory and organisational standards.
  • Accurately document all work performed, ensuring certification requirements are met within specified timeframes.
  • Action engineering advice, defect reporting, maintenance deficiencies, and publication amendments as directed.
  • Immediately report any defects, deficiencies, maintenance errors, or aircraft unserviceabilities to the Team Leader.
  • Perform maintenance activities only within the limits of your delegated authority and authorisation.
  • Identify and escalate any non-conformances or quality issues in accordance with reporting procedures.
