We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at Cooinda Lodge Kakadu.
This role is an exciting opportunity to work in a unique and remote location, maintaining our generators, vehicles, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Responsibilities- Main Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance on generators, company vehicles, and mechanical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of completed and pending repairs using the Property Management System (PMS).
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Team to uphold environmental standards and safety compliance in all mechanical operations.
- Essential:
- Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related field, minimum level 3.
- Demonstrated experience servicing heavy-duty mechanical equipment and tour vehicles (bus, coach, boats).
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Sound knowledge and application of Workplace Health and Safety standards.
- Valid manual driver's license.
- Desirable:
- Experience working in remote locations or lodge/hotel environments.
- Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with property maintenance systems and sustainability practices.
