The Endocrinology Specialist role plays a pivotal part in delivering top-notch endocrinology services to patients. Our team's objective is to provide exceptional care and foster strong relationships with community groups.
This position demands extensive clinical experience in endocrinology, with a commitment to delivering high-quality specialty care in a clinical setting. Key responsibilities include:
- Embodying quality healthcare principles, encompassing quality improvement, research, risk management, service evaluation, and strategic service delivery planning.
- Delivering quality speciality care to patients, involving the assessment, admission, ongoing care, transfer, and discharge of patients.
- Establishing and nurturing relationships within the medical specialties of the division of medicine, between departments and services.
- Leading education programs for clinicians at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Applying sound business acumen to plan the financial function of the service.
- Collaborating and enhancing connectivity in the provision of a medical service within a multi-disciplinary team.
Mandatory requirements include vaccination against certain vaccine-preventable diseases.
