Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our Education team at Centorrino Technologies. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing relationships with education clients, managing accounts, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
- Develop and implement business development strategies focused on financial gain and closure of new clients.
- Leverage your expertise in the education sector to identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with key stakeholders.
- Manage procurement cycles and regulatory environment of Catholic Education and Independent Schools.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM tools.
- Identify new customer needs through research and analysis.
- Stay updated with industry trends and market conditions to identify emerging opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide feedback, support, and insights.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline sales.
- Familiarity with the education sector, particularly independent and Catholic schools in Australia.
- Proven experience in business development or sales within the education sector.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Proven capability to sell hardware or software.
- Knowledge of sales methodologies and CRM tools.
- Ability to manage projects, multitask, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to IT and non-IT stakeholders.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to a rapidly changing business environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, intellectual rigour and curiosity, and ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
