Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the performance of assigned room and/or public area attendants to ensure product quality standards are met.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversight and training of housekeeping staff to guarantee they have the necessary tools and equipment to effectively carry out their duties.
  • Promotion of teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
  • Support with deep cleaning projects and assistance to housekeeping staff during high volume periods.
  • Recruitment support to ensure the housekeeping team is adequately staffed.
  • Ensuring team members are trained and compliant with brand standards, service behaviors and government regulations.
  • Demonstration of a sound awareness of Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in housekeeping in a hotel.
  • Supervisory or training experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
