This is a captivating opportunity for an ambitious professional to manage a diverse client portfolio and tackle various technical challenges in our Business Advisory team.
We are seeking an experienced accountant to work under the guidance of senior managers and directors to provide high-quality accounting services to a wide range of clients. Your key responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing financial statements, advising clients on general accounting matters, and managing various technical projects.
Key Responsibilities- Preparing and reviewing financial statements for entities including large businesses
- Preparing and reviewing BAS and GST returns
- Advising clients on general accounting matters
Essential qualifications, experience, and attributes:
- A relevant degree in Commerce or Accounting
- At least 3 years' experience in Australian public practice accounting
- CA or CPA qualification (completed)
- A strong understanding of tax technical issues within a business advisory context
- A confident communicator with experience in face-to-face client interactions
- A high attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- A team player who enjoys mentoring junior staff
