Disability Support Worker

Our support workers play a vital role in assisting individuals with various needs. They work closely with clients to develop and implement individualised plans that promote independence, choice, and control.

The Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be working in Neighbourhood Teams in your local community under the direction of a Team Leader. You will assist and support our clients in line with their NDIS plan to achieve their goals through a person-centred approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting clients with daily living skills and household duties
  • Transporting clients to appointments and activities
  • Building client self-image and confidence
  • Supporting clients in social and community participation
  • Promoting independence and well-being
  • Providing personal care and manual handling assistance
  • Administration tasks such as journal reporting

Requirements:

  • Experience in disability support work (preferred)
  • NDIS Orientation Module (preferred)
  • Working with Children Check (required)
  • Australian Driver's Licence (required for some roles)
