Job Opportunity

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient deployment of integration solutions across diverse systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing high-quality APIs that connect systems, ensuring reusability, reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support system testing, quality assurance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Developing efficient, scalable, and secure integration solutions using cloud-based tools.
  • Managing API versions effectively, ensuring backward compatibility and seamless transitions between versions.
  • Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code for integration components.

You will also be responsible for conducting code reviews, planning and executing comprehensive testing strategies, and monitoring performance to identify bottlenecks and optimize for speed, scalability, and efficiency.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a software developer with solid programming skills in C# and SQL.
  • Demonstrated experience in Azure integration services including Functions, Service Bus, and Logic Apps.
  • Strong understanding of cloud storage technologies and authentication & authorization schemes.

Australia's electoral system requires transparency and accountability. By taking on this role, you will contribute to architectural decisions and provide input on cloud strategy, scalability, and interoperability.

Desirable Criteria:
  • Understanding and practical experience with microservices architecture and Domain Driven Design principles.
  • Proficiency in Git, YAML, and Infrastructure as Code principles.
  • Knowledge of security testing tools and practices.
