About the Role

This is a leadership position at a secondary school, responsible for academic, operational, and pastoral aspects of the school. The successful candidate will provide visible and relational leadership to inspire a culture of high expectations, wellbeing, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster an inclusive and values-based school culture that actively shapes the spiritual, emotional, and cultural life of the Secondary School community.
  • Lead diverse academic pathways while promoting student engagement, achievement, and wellbeing.
  • E nsure a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment through deep commitment to the wellbeing, development, and conduct of students.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement through strategic planning, system refinement, and adaptive change management that enhances both academic and pastoral outcomes.
  • B uild the capability and wellbeing of staff through mentoring, collaborative leadership, and the development of a high-performing, supportive leadership team.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the right to work in Australia, eligibility for NESA teacher accreditation, excellent organisational and communication skills, contemporary knowledge of child safeguarding obligations and responsibilities, with a commitment to driving the safeguarding culture, and clearance to work with children (WWCC).

Desirable Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in education, leadership, or a related field.
  • A current First Aid certificate.
