The Executive Chef is responsible for leading the culinary team in delivering high-quality meals that meet dietary and nutritional needs.
Key responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, managing stock and equipment maintenance, and overseeing menu planning and meal quality assurance.
Strong leadership skills and experience in hospitality or healthcare catering are essential for this role. A Trade Certificate of Proficiency in Cooking and Food Safety Supervisor (Health) is also required.
Achieving a positive and productive team culture is crucial to success in this position. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of food safety standards, OH&S, and infection control.
The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring food preparation processes, as well as conducting audits and maintaining accurate records.
