About the Role

Uniquehire Pty LTD is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data pipelines using Apache Spark, Hadoop, and other big data technologies.
  • Develop and maintain high-performance data processing systems using Java, Python, and other programming languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data systems with other business applications.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in big data and data engineering.
Requirements
  • Strong background in big data technologies, including Apache Spark, Hadoop, and NoSQL databases.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and Scala.
  • Experience with data processing frameworks such as Apache Beam and Apache Flink.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
