The Drainer & Drainage Excavator Operator role is an exciting opportunity for skilled professionals to join our underground services division.
We are seeking highly competent individuals with a strong background in drainage and subdivision works, who can work effectively in a team environment and provide exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Excavate trenches for the installation of sewerage, stormwater, water and gas reticulation infrastructure.
- Install pipes and fittings according to specifications.
- Liaise daily with supervisors to ensure timely completion of work.
- Ensure all work meets technical requirements and safe work practices.
- Hold relevant certifications, including a Construction Induction Card and valid WA manual drivers' license.
Desirable Qualifications:
- PVC Pipelaying accreditation.
- ATCO Gas Common Trench certification.
- Dogman's ticket.
- Quick cut ticket.
- Excavator ticket.
Accountabilities:
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Read and interpret plans and drawings.
- Liaise with supervisors to ensure timely completion of work.
- Ensure records/reports are completed as required.
- Contribute to Safety Committee Meetings.
This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate, overtime penalties, allowances, and a company supplied vehicle. Work sites are located around the Perth metro area.
