About the Role

This is a full-time permanent position based at Marram Place in Devonport, Tasmania. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising a small team of dedicated individuals who work on a rotating fortnightly 24/7 roster. You will also act as a coach, providing encouragement and support to help build confidence and capabilities for those who live and work at Marram Place.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing and supporting the team to deliver high-quality, client-focused service delivery utilising contemporary practice approaches.
  • Acting as a coach, providing encouragement and support to help build confidence and capabilities for those who both work and live at Marram Place.
  • Taking a key role in recruiting, training, supervising, and rostering staff.
  • Undertaking report writing, data collection, actively participating in inter and intra-agency meetings, and completing administrative tasks to ensure continuous quality improvement.
About Us

CatholicCare Tasmania is the primary social services agency of the Catholic Church across Tasmania. We have 60 years' experience delivering a wide range of services and support to improve individual, family, and community wellbeing. Our services are available and open to all, with a particular focus on families, young people, and children.

Marram Place provides a short-term accommodation and wellbeing program for men aged 18 or older who require assistance to find and keep their own home. The program is funded through Homes Tasmania and is operated by a small and dedicated team employed by CatholicCare Tasmania.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in the area of Health, Social, or Community Services. You must also hold a current Working with Vulnerable Persons Registration and a current driver's licence.
