About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our production team as an Operator/Packer. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, operating machinery, producing goods, and ensuring the quality of all loads while prioritizing your own safety and that of your colleagues.

Key Accountabilities

The key accountabilities of this role include:

  • Unloading goods and materials safely
  • Operating machinery, plant, and equipment in a safe manner
  • Producing manufactured goods in accordance with specifications
  • Picking and packing sales orders
  • Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping
  • Communicating effectively with other staff
  • Loading vehicles safely
  • Completing relevant documentation correctly and accurately
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Physical fitness to operate machinery
  • A commitment to safety and wellbeing
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Overhead Gantry Crane experience
  • Driver's license
  • Steel machine experience highly desirable
