Key to unlocking a successful cyber security program is the ability to respond effectively to major incidents.

Our organization seeks an expert in this field to join our team and provide strategic guidance on managing corporate environments and Operational Technology contexts during such events.

The Incident Response Specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining IR runbooks, preparing for potential Cyber Security incidents, and crafting high-quality incident reports.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and responding to security events using established response plans and creating new processes where needed.
  • Responding to security events, including front-line analysis and escalation, on hacktivist, cybercrime, and APT activity.
  • Supporting the cyber incident response plan to ensure proper assessment, containment, mitigation, and documentation.
  • Reviewing incident data and providing root cause analysis and recommendations for future prevention.
  • Identifying gaps in IR runbooks, security data, and response tooling.
  • Producing detailed incident reports and technical briefs for management and business leaders.

Required qualifications and experience include:

  • Proven experience in managing large cyber incidents and developing incident response plans.
  • Experience in OT context is highly desirable.
  • At least 5 years of experience in cyber security operations or engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of automated security control systems, encryption, message authentication, vulnerability assessment, threat intelligence, intrusion detection, penetration testing, and incident response.
