Your Opportunity

Fulfilling a Key Role

In this exciting position, you will lead the development and implementation of risk management strategies, promoting a proactive approach to minimizing risks and safeguarding our clients and staff. You will also coordinate external audits and ensure ongoing compliance with industry standards like the NDIS Practice Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks and threats.
  • Lead internal audit activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with external auditors on compliance assessments and provide expert advice on risk management practices.
  • Stay updated on legislative changes and industry best practices, informing strategic decisions and driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience managing and leading internal audit, assurance, and compliance activities, preferably in the disability sector.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and ability to promote a positive risk culture.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with all levels of the organization.
