About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Multiskilled Operator to join our team at Curragh Mine. As a Multiskilled Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery, including haul trucks, dozers, loaders, graders, rollers, and excavators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy machinery in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform tasks such as earthmoving, material loading, grading, and excavation
  • Conduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance to ensure equipment is in optimal condition
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations
  • Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly
Requirements
  • Proven experience operating haul trucks, dozers, loaders, graders, rollers, and excavators
  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols
  • Ability to work a Lifestyle roster, including both day and night shifts
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
  • Physical fitness and the ability to work in a demanding environment
  • Current Coal Board Medical or willingness to obtain
  • Current Standard 11 or willingness to obtain
