Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Cyber Security Project Coordinator to manage and deliver multiple cyber related projects within our esteemed client's ICT cyber security environment.

About the Role:

  • This role involves delivering multiple projects that have an organisation-wide impact, working closely with various stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing project plans and schedules in accordance with our agency's project management framework and considering project interdependencies.
  • A key aspect of this role is contributing to project design, governance arrangements and operational integration.
  • Your goal is to ensure project deliverables and milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • You will research, review and evaluate projects in specific operational or technical areas including Cyber Security.
  • As part of this role, you will prepare and review written material including business cases, plans, reports and executive briefs and corporate documentation.
  • You will undertake budget management, monitor expenditure and oversee procurement and contract management.
  • An essential aspect of this role is identifying, assessing, managing, escalating, reporting and monitoring project risks, issues and benefits, including developing treatment strategies.

Key Requirements:

  • 5 years' experience as a Project Manager in an ICT or Cyber Security role is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to run multiple projects in tight timeframes is essential.
  • Experience liaising with managed service providers, department staff, third-party vendors and relevant business areas is crucial.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in the Essential Eight – highly desirable.
