Mobile Technology Engineer Role Overview

This role is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative technologies for mobile devices.

About the Job

As a software engineer, you will work on building and improving infrastructure tooling critical for mobile module release quality.

  • Create solutions for better mobile developer experience in the Android and Google tool chain.
  • Define quality bars with mobile teams and scale it across the ecosystem.
  • Resolve mobile launch blockers in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with partners to improve mobile module quality beyond product lines.

We are looking for engineers who bring fresh ideas from all areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, system design, networking, data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, user interface design and mobile; the list goes on and is growing every day.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.

Preferred qualifications include experience working in a fluid environment with strict timelines, knowledge of how mobile operating systems work, ability to take initiatives and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, ability to learn new technology and follow industry trends, ability to communicate with external partners in APAC, and ability to travel across borders for collaboration with business partners.

In this role, you will work on a specific project critical to our needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve.
