Cell Culture Specialist

As a Cell Culture Specialist, you will play a key role in the development and manufacturing of sustainable food products. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and shape the future of process development and cell culture.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree with experience in a laboratory setting working with cell cultures and aseptic technique or a background in bioprocessing, fermentation, or bioreactor operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Be responsible for the manufacturing process, from thawing cells to large-scale cell culture, maturation, and final harvest.
  • Conduct routine monitoring to ensure batches meet quality control and food safety standards.
  • Operate bioreactors and other large-scale processing equipment.
  • Adhere to our quality management system and actively improve standard operating procedures.
  • Document and maintain compliance of manufacturing processes for quality assurance and reproducibility.
  • Record deviations from SOPs and maintain batch metric tracking to assist in establishing quality control parameters.
  • General lab upkeep, cleaning, and maintenance tasks as required.
