Job Description

The Assistant Director, Guidance Communication leads a small team responsible for creating and maintaining non-statutory guidance information. This includes researching, planning, developing, implementing and evaluating the effectiveness of guidance materials to enable Comcare to successfully inform its jurisdiction.

This role requires close collaboration with other business areas including the Regulatory Operations Group (ROG), Scheme Management Group and Legal Group to produce targeted guidance that meets Comcare's policy direction, is accurate and adheres to the standards set out in Comcare's External Communications Policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive guidance strategies
  • Lead a team of experts in creating high-quality guidance materials
  • Collaborate with internal clients to understand their needs and develop targeted solutions

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or Public Relations will be highly regarded
  • Australian citizenship
  • Character clearance (Australian Criminal History Check)
  • Employee Health Declaration
  • Six months probationary period for new engagements

Working Conditions

  • Some interstate travel may be required, including overnight absences

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 AUD, depending on experience. Comcare offers a range of benefits, including employee health declaration, character clearance, and Australian citizenship requirements.
