About the Role

We are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians or Industrial Electricians to join our high-performing maintenance teams across Yarwun Operations in Gladstone, Queensland.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals willing to obtain Certificate III Instrumentation on-site to work with our team and contribute to the success of our alumina refinery.

Job Responsibilities
  • Maintain and replace electrical equipment as required.
  • Execute planned and unplanned breakdown maintenance tasks.
  • Troubleshoot, calibrate, repair, and service fixed plant instrumentation and electrical assets.
  • Perform working at heights activities safely and efficiently.
  • Work autonomously, being reliable and positively contributing to the maintenance team.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
  • Identify and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Promote and identify HSE opportunities to improve equipment, processes, and behaviours.
Requirements
  • A commitment to safety and the well-being of yourself and your team.
  • Respect for others and an inclusive mindset.
  • A valid C Class driver's license.
  • An Australian 'A' grade Electrical license.
  • Proven experience in fault-finding and repairs on various electrical equipment.
  • Proven maintenance experience working in heavy/industrial industries.
