Job Opportunity: Part-time Childcare Educator

We are seeking a part-time childcare educator to provide daily care and education for a teenage child and primary school-aged child with special requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in early education and care, hold a current Working With Children Check and Police Check, and have a reliable method of transport.

This is a unique opportunity to work in partnership with a family to achieve the best outcomes for the children.

  • Fully supported by our organisation throughout your placement.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing daily care, education, and support to the children, including pick-up from school and afternoon care.

The shifts will typically be 3 evenings per week, usually from 3pm-9.30pm, and you will be required to work approximately 18-20 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily care and education for the children.
  • Pick up from school and provide afternoon care.
  • Work collaboratively with the family to achieve the best outcomes for the children.
Requirements:
  • Current Working With Children Check.
  • Current Police Check.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Certificate in early education and care or education support, or currently studying in the field.
  • Reliable method of transport.
