Job Title: Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and providing accounting services including financial statements, tax returns, and tax planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with SME business clients
  • Full process from meeting with the client through to financial statements and tax returns, tax planning and advisory
  • The role is estimated to have 60% compliance and 40% advisory

As a Senior Accountant, you will also be responsible for training in the advisory space and SMSF if required. You will work closely with the partner and be part of a supportive and mature team.

Requirements:
  • Degree plus experience in an Australian accounting firm in business services and preferably XERO exposure
  • Willingness to work independently and manage a client portfolio
  • Solid experience at compliance level, training provided in advisory capacity
