Job Title: Data Insights Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Data Insights Analyst to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimising high value and highly aged debt collections across our most indebted residential customers.

The team aims to identify opportunities to resolve customer indebtedness upstream and improve customer engagement in the collections lifecycle.

  • You will create, manage and support ETL of data reporting assets/data pipelines for the complex collections team.
  • Manage and develop data governance framework for all reporting assets.
  • Elevate the use of analytics to enhance and optimise our collections capability to maximise debt coverage and collections outcomes.
  • C coach and collaborate with analysts and specialists to drive measurable collection outcomes via analytical and statistical capabilities.
  • Optimise and automate analytics processes, including data extraction, transformation and delivery for the purposes of generating repeatable intelligence to monitor initiative outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Experience in data extraction, transformation and formatting skills (from SQL based databases/platforms e.g. MS SQL Server, SAP HANA).
  • Experience in data/analytics tools such as SQL, Python, R Studio or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in analytical roles providing insight and implementing business outcomes based on recommendations.
  • Expertise in using extremely large, complex data sets to draw conclusions and effectively communicate findings with technical and non-technical teams, including senior stakeholders.
  • A strong understanding of credit management principles would be advantageous.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business/IT/Commerce/Engineering would be advantageous.
