About the Role
">We are seeking an Assistant Trainer to support and co-facilitate a range of Lived Experience trainings. This is a permanent part-time role that offers opportunities for personal and professional growth.
">As an Assistant Trainer, you will work closely with our Training & Capacity Building Team to help deliver impactful, Lived Experience-based training in Alcohol & Other Drugs and Mental Health. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Supporting and co-facilitating a range of Lived Experience trainings">
- Helping grow and sustain the Lived and Living Experience workforce">
- Delivering training through an AOD/MH recovery lens">
This role is ideal for a passionate self-starter looking to make a difference in a purpose-led team. You will be working with people from all walks of life and have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in facilitating workshops or group training with a Lived Experience focus.

Your Skills and Experience
">To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
">- ">
- Certificate IV in Mental Health, Peer Work, or Training & Assessment">
- Formal tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Psychiatric Nursing, Youth Work, or other Allied Health">
- Certification in training/facilitation or adult learning (desirable)">
- Proven experience in facilitating workshops or group training with a Lived Experience focus">
- Lived/living experience of recovery from AOD and/or Mental Health">
- Strong understanding of the AOD and Mental Health system">
