Aboriginal Family Violence Law Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled legal professional to lead our family violence law team, providing expert support and guidance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and children.

Key Responsibilities- Leading and managing a team of lawyers and support staff to provide comprehensive family violence law services.
- Fostering a culturally safe environment for clients, colleagues, and community partners.
- Developing and implementing strategies to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Mentoring and supervising lawyers and support staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- A Victorian Practising Certificate or eligibility to hold.
- A minimum of four years' experience in family law, family violence law, child protection, or victims of crime assistance.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
- Strong ability to mentor, supervise, and develop lawyers and support staff.
