Lead Enterprise Data Transformation

Leverage your expertise in Snowflake to drive large-scale data platform transformation projects and empower enterprises to unlock their full potential.

As a seasoned Data Engineering Lead, you will lead end-to-end Snowflake migration projects, design semantic data models, and enable reporting solutions for small to medium-sized enterprises. You will apply deep expertise in Snowflake's latest features, data architecture, and BI integrations while embedding modern DevOps practices.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Snowflake migrations & implementations, including legacy warehouse modernisation, schema design, and data optimisation.
  • Design and deliver semantic data models to enable self-service analytics.
  • Integrate Snowflake with Power BI and other BI tools for enterprise reporting.
  • Leverage advanced Snowflake features such as data sharing, marketplace, Snowpark, and performance optimisation.
  • Drive DevOps & CI/CD practices, including automated testing and infrastructure as code.
  • Collaborate with cloud architects (Azure, AWS, or GCP) to align with enterprise strategies.
  • Ensure data governance and security best practices are embedded across platforms.
  • Engage and advise senior stakeholders on data strategies and project delivery.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of data engineering experience, with at least 3 years in Snowflake implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of Snowflake's latest features (Snowpark, marketplace, dynamic tables).
  • Proven ability to build semantic models and integrate Snowflake with BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Hands-on expertise in cloud architecture (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Strong background in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in SQL and ETL/ELT patterns.
  • Solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
