Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Advisory Expert to join our team in Perth. As a key member of our Construction Advisory and Disputes team, you will have the opportunity to advise on major construction, engineering, energy, and resource projects across Australia and beyond.

As a Construction Advisory Expert, you will be responsible for advising clients on issues arising from live projects, as well as formal dispute resolution, including arbitration, court, mediation, and adjudication. You will work closely with Partners on business development activities to identify new client opportunities and contribute strategically to proposals and tender efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on construction law and its commercial application
• Lead matters and work closely with Partners on business development activities
• Contribute strategically to proposals and tender efforts
• Develop valuable relationships and build market presence

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• A qualified lawyer with at least five years of experience (in-house or private practice)
• Demonstrated expertise in construction law and dispute resolution
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to assimilate information quickly and handle multiple priorities under pressure or within tight timeframes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with clients and diverse stakeholder audiences
• Commercial awareness and enthusiasm about business development
• Energy and passion for the role
