Home Support Worker

As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential support and care to older members of our community, helping them maintain their independence and wellbeing.

You will assist with daily tasks, including housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and personal care. You will also provide emotional support and help clients with transportation to appointments and lifestyle activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide home help services, including general housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping
  • Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and using the bathroom
  • Help clients with mobility and therapy goals, including transferring and repositioning
  • Provide social and emotional support to clients and their families
  • Transport clients to appointments and lifestyle activities

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 3 months experience in a similar professional role
  • Experience in personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medications
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence and insured, roadworthy vehicle
