This client is a major employer in the region, experiencing exponential growth as they increase their mine operations. With this growth comes a significant program of capital works across their asset base, including infrastructure, processing, facilities, rail, maintenance, and major projects.
The OpportunityAs Senior Project Manager - Projects, you will directly report to the Head of Projects and be instrumental in successfully driving and steering projects across the mine. You will have full oversight and autonomy executing the Capital Program of works across the site. This role will see you manage multi-disciplined project teams, ensuring safety, cost, quality, and program are forefront while striving for constant improvement and efficiencies across the site.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and lead project teams to deliver complex projects across civil and mining infrastructure.
- Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate project risks.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including project sponsors, customers, and vendors.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience delivering complex projects across civil and mining infrastructure.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to drive project teams to a combined goal.
- Effective stakeholder management, both internal and external.
- Results-driven, commercially strong, and always driving business involvement.
- Champions a safe working environment.
