They will also have formal training in incident investigation and tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety, Environmental or Quality Management.

The Project SHEQ Director will be responsible for leading and managing a dedicated SHEQ team, mentoring and guiding them, and providing expert advice to operational teams. They will also partner with the General Manager and clients on all SHEQ matters, building strong relationships and ensuring seamless communication.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a safety leader within a construction, utilities, or infrastructure project environment.
  • Knowledge of SHEQ legislation, regulatory requirements, and ISO standards.
  • Formal training in incident investigation.
  • Tertiary qualification in Workplace Health and Safety, Environmental or Quality Management.
