Job Description:

This is a key opportunity for an Instrument Technician to join the Central Sterilising Department at St Vincent's Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) on a part-time, full-time or casual basis. The role involves working up to 38 hours per week and will be pivotal in the reprocessing of reusable medical devices in accordance with relevant Standards.

You will bring your passion to this rewarding opportunity where you will work with the Central Sterilising team to support Surgical Services and associated departments who require surgical instrument reprocessing.

The successful candidate will possess a strong ability and flexibility to work in a dynamic and changing environment.

  • About You:
  • Completion of Certificate 3 or 4 Instrument Technician course
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, surgical instrumentation handling and care
