The Moreton Bay Region Community Services, Sport and Recreation Branch is seeking an experienced professional to coordinate events at the Morayfield Sports and Events Centre.

This role will require the ability to manage multiple bookings, provide excellent customer service, and work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be able to multitask, and possess excellent communication skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating events and activities at the Morayfield Sports and Events Centre

  • Providing excellent customer service to clients and stakeholders

  • Managing venue bookings and ensuring smooth event operations

  • Working collaboratively with other team members to achieve business objectives

  • Developing and implementing event plans and strategies

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Familiarity with event planning software and systems

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
