About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our team at the University of Sydney. As a Laureate Fellowship holder, you will have the opportunity to refine and apply ecological and epidemiological skills to understand the wild-domestic animal interface and inform microbial spillover risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a program of excellence in the wild-domestic interface and microbial spillover risk
  • Design and implement field studies to generate empirical data
  • Develop and apply novel analytical approaches to integrate modelling and decision analysis
  • Supervise PhD, honours, and DVM student research
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced researcher with a postgraduate research qualification (PhD) and a strong track record of high-impact journal publications in disease ecology or infectious disease epidemiology. You will have experience in biostatistics, bioinformatics, risk analysis, or disease spread modelling, and be able to create novel analytical frameworks.
