Structural draftspersons design and create detailed drawings of buildings and structures.

Job Requirements
  • A thorough understanding of structural engineering concepts is essential for this role.
  • The ability to receive hand markups and Bluebeam PDF markups from a structural engineer and produce a REVIT model and resultant drawings to suit the project requirements.
  • Providing REVIT modeling documentation for various levels of detail (LOD) such as Concept Design, Schematic Design, Detailed Design, and Construction Documentation.
  • Under direction, coordinating services with other services and building structure.
  • Managing oneself in terms of time, priorities, and workload from engineers under the direction of the discipline lead.
  • Actively communicating with other modelers and engineers in the business to deliver project deliverables in a consolidated manner within agreed timeframes.
Selection Criteria
  • A Diploma or Certificate in structural engineering or a related field is highly regarded.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in the industry.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam software.
  • Providing a positive contribution to team dynamics.
