Early Childhood Education Opportunity

  • We are seeking an experienced and qualified educator to join our team at Fern Valley Child Care Centre.
  • The successful candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care and education to young children, as well as excellent communication and observation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and implement programs for children aged 0-6 years old
  • To maintain accurate and detailed daily records of each child's learning journey
  • To contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practice in early childhood education
  • To work collaboratively with other educators and support staff to achieve positive outcomes for children

Requirements:

  • Certificate 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Current First Aid certification (ACECQA approved)
  • Current Working With Children Check
  • At least 1 year of full-time employment experience
  • Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Excellent communication and observation skills

Working Hours:

The successful candidate will be required to work 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a fixed shift from 9:30am to 2:30pm. There may be occasional after-hours staff meetings, which will be negotiated in advance.
