The ideal candidate will have experience in managing functions and large-scale events, as well as expertise in managing booking and reservation systems.

A key player in the restaurant's continued growth and success, you will work closely with the owner to modernise systems and implement fresh ideas. In return, you can expect a competitive salary and a dynamic work environment.

  • $70,000 - $80,000 + Super
  • Be the face of a Coburg institution and lead a team of 33.
  • Full-time role with a structured 5-day working week.

What do you do?

  • Oversee staffing: hiring, training, rostering, and leading a large team.
  • Run the show on the floor during busy service periods.
  • Manage 4 to 5 weekend functions, ensuring smooth and flawless execution.
  • Collaborate with the owner to modernise booking systems and streamline operations.
  • Play a key role in the restaurant's expansion, especially with plans to double the capacity.
  • Keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

  • Proven experience managing a bustling restaurant or hospitality venue.
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Experience with rostering, hiring, and performance management.
  • Expertise in managing functions and large-scale events.
  • Familiarity with booking and reservation systems.
  • A proactive and hands-on approach to service and problem-solving.
  • Flexibility to work Wednesday to Sunday.
