As the General Manager, Asset Protection, you will lead the overall strategic management and direction for the operation of the Asset Protection function to ensure the long-term safety and security of guests and team members.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will ensure the protection of Echo Entertainment's integrity, assets, and provide a high level of professional, proficient, and effective leadership in line with Echo Entertainment's corporate values, compliance obligations, and business objectives.

A few of your responsibilities

• Oversee the management and daily operation of the Asset Protection function, ensuring operations are conducted in accordance with the highest standards, including gaming integrity.

• Formulate measures to enhance the protection of Echo Entertainment's assets and prevent and detect criminal, illegal, and undesirable activity.

• Develop strategies and operational practices to reduce violent incidents and operational breaches, including RSA and minors.

• Ensure emergency management protocols, and all Asset Protection management are cognizant of their roles and responsibilities during emergency management incidents and when the crisis management plan has been implemented.

• Optimise the Asset Protection Department business plan, including an operating budget, labour levels, and resource requirements, balancing compliance and service.

What we are looking for

• Extensive experience in Security and management, preferably within the casino industry.

• Understanding of laws as they relate to the organisation, in particular, Casino Control Act and regulations, NSW Liquor Act, Security Industry Act, and Crimes Act.

• Ability to communicate and implement all statutory processes.

• Experience in managing a large in-house and contract workforce.

• Advanced Conflict Resolution and Incident Management.

You are a seasoned leader that will provide specialist expertise, leadership, and insights to a range of stakeholders across operational risk, asset protection capabilities, and business continuity.
