Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled cloud architect to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our AWS Professional Services team, you will collaborate with customers and partners to design, build, operate, and secure their cloud environments.

About the Role

  • You will work closely with pre-sales and delivery teams to help customers and partners learn and use services such as AWS Glue, Amazon S3, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Redshift, and more.
  • You will deliver technical engagements with customers and partners, including participating in pre-sales visits, understanding customer requirements, and creating consulting proposals.
  • You will design and run experiments, research new algorithms, and find new ways of optimizing risk, profitability, and customer experience using machine learning, generative AI, and other techniques.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of IT implementation experience.
  • Experience facilitating discussions with senior leadership regarding technical / architectural trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation.
  • Experience and technical expertise (design and implementation) in cloud computing technologies, including AWS and/or third-party data analytics aligned services.
