Neurosurgery Nurse Specialist

Job Description:

The Neurosurgery Ward is a tertiary referral centre for neurosurgical referrals across the Northern Sydney and Central Coast Local Health Districts. As a Registered Nurse in this ward, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care in collaboration with individual/s and the greater healthcare team to achieve quality patient care outcomes.

You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care and ensure that patients receive appropriate medical attention. This includes developing and maintaining effective relationships with patients, families and carers, as well as communicating effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current clinical knowledge and problem-solving ability
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
