We are seeking a vibrant and knowledgeable Tour Guide to join our team. As a Tour Guide, you will play a crucial role in providing engaging and informative tours, ensuring that our guests have an enriching and enjoyable experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests warmly and make them feel comfortable.
  • Ensure accurate attendance logging for each session, event, or shift.
  • Create a detailed and realistic schedule or itinerary for the tour.
  • Organize transportation, accommodation, and logistical needs for the tour.
  • Develop and rehearse commentary highlighting key points, interesting facts, and engaging stories related to the tour sites.
  • Conduct the tour according to the planned itinerary, providing information about notable features, exhibits, or attractions at each site.
  • Verify all arrangements, bookings, and reservations prior to the tour date.
  • Equip yourself with comprehensive knowledge about the tour locations, historical facts, cultural significance, and practical details to answer visitor questions.
  • Ensure up-to-date, accurate, and well-organized brochures, maps, and tour literature.
  • Set up and test audiovisual equipment before the presentation begins.
Requirements:
  • A minimum Cert IV level qualification.
  • At least two years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • A strong passion for nature and outdoor activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation:

$65,000 - $80,000 per annum plus Superannuation
